Kassidy Peters

Director of Development

Kassidy grew up in Northeast South Dakota in a Christian home that was very involved in their church. She thinks of her relationship with Jesus as a roller coaster while a teenager and young adult. There would be moments after church camp or other events where she had a deep desire for a relationship with Jesus, but it would quickly fade after getting back to “real life.” She attended the University of Sioux Falls for two years where she played volleyball. After realizing playing a college sport left her with no time for her horses, she later transferred and graduated from South Dakota State University.

After college, Kassidy decided to pursue a real estate appraiser license. It was a long and stressful four years, but looking back, she sees that God was teaching her about determination and not giving up on something that seems to have one road block after another. It was a hard point in her life, facing other life challenges as well. She remembers this time saying "I was mad at God for a time in this season, but one day, I remember He just wrapped me in His arms and showed me how deep His love was. He was with me and was going to use it all for good."

Kassidy’s brother introduced her to Collision, which she is so thankful for! She has a deep passion for building relationships with people and is excited to step into this calling as the Director of Development. When asked what drew her to Collision, she says she has been moved by the confidence these students portray as they share the gospel and disciple their peers.

She is blessed to be married to her husband, Kyle, and have two amazing kids, Addie and Branch. You can also find her staying active and busy with her family and going on hunting trips with Kyle.
