Phusuda Baah

Graphic Designer

Phusuda was born in Bangkok, Thailand. When she was four years old, her parents made the tough decision to send her to the United States with her aunt and uncle to give her a chance at a better life. She and her adoptive parents settled down in Watertown, South Dakota, where Phusuda went to Catholic church most Sundays and attended a school where her father was the principal and her mother was the secretary. Needless to say, her upbringing was a strict one.

At eighteen, Phusuda got kicked out of the house and had to start the next chapter of college life on her own. She says, “It was dark all around me, and the only way I’d get through that darkness was through Jesus.” She began to take small, curious steps toward Him, and over time, Jesus brought her to the place of knowing Him. “Time after time I’ve been shown how good He is and how much I need Him, and as situations get better in my life, I only see how much more I need Him.”

Phusuda went to college for graphic design, and she started her own photography business along the way. Though God continues to work His reconciling power through her family, Phusuda finds peace in knowing that God is the best parent she could ever have.

Phusuda enjoys putting her professional and faith tools to work for Collision and sharing them with younger people.
