Jamie Wilson
Mission Coordinator
Jamie was raised in Council Bluffs, Iowa, and has devoted her adult life to serving in various roles within the church. For the past three years, she and her husband, John, have served as youth pastors at Parkway in Omaha. They are currently in training to step into the role of senior pastors.
Jamie has a deep passion for reaching lost and broken kids. She and John have been actively involved in outreach ministry, using their musical gifts to share the gospel. For several years, they performed in a band that brought the message of Jesus to bars and clubs—reaching people in places many churches often overlook.
As a dedicated mother of seven, Jamie homeschools her youngest four children, instilling in them the importance of being bold and unwavering in their faith.
Jamie also has a powerful personal testimony. From a young age, she experienced intense pressure—both from her family and herself—which led to a bleeding ulcer by the age of nine. She battled anxiety and depression until one day, overwhelmed and desperate, she cried out to God. In that moment, she felt the Lord calling her to surrender everything and live fully for Him. Since then, she has experienced God’s healing, freedom, and guidance in countless ways—learning to forgive, overcome, and thrive in His grace.
Being from the Omaha area, Jamie understands the challenges churches face in the region. She is passionate about fostering unity and boldness for the gospel and looks forward to seeing youth groups grow and lives transformed by the power of Jesus through her work with Collision.
