Lexi Zosel
Minneapolis Metro Operations Assistant
Lexi grew up in rural Minnesota with a faith background of, “I think I would maybe get into heaven.” She attended the University of Sioux Falls to pursue a nursing degree and to run track and field, where she initially struggled with the things of this world—unhealthy relationships, anxiety, and depression.
Through the consistent love and persistence of friends and teammates who knew and loved the Lord—and who continually pursued friendship with her by inviting her to Sunday services, Bible studies, and worship nights—Lexi encountered the transforming power of Christ’s love. She fully surrendered her life to Jesus following a campus worship night at USF and was baptized the following year in the Jordan River during her university’s Israel trip (where she also met and became friends with her now-husband, Jacob).
Because of this transformation, Lexi is deeply passionate about evangelism and is excited to be serving in the Twin Cities metropolitan area with Collision. She has experienced firsthand the life-changing power of hearing the Word of God and being discipled by peers who walk alongside you, and she continues to pursue Jesus fully because of it.
Lexi is also a registered oncology nurse in Minnesota’s West Metro. In her free time, she enjoys running, walking, and hiking with her dog, Luna—named after her and Jacob’s favorite Sioux Falls coffee shop, La Luna.
