Mikayla Breck

Field Coordinator

Mikayla grew up in South Dakota with a strong sense of community and family, which shaped her deep love for people and her desire to see others encounter God in real-and-lasting ways. She has always had a heart for building relationships and creating spaces where people feel seen and valued. While attending high school in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Mikayla participated in Collision trainings, when they came to her school. It was the first time she had experienced Christianity in a school setting, and it helped set her on the path toward ministry.

After high school, she stepped into full-time ministry training and missions, spending several years traveling, serving, and learning from ministries across the U.S. and overseas. These years were formative—strengthening her faith, shaping her identity in Christ, and sparking a passion to equip the next generation to walk confidently in who God has called them to be.

Through her journey, Mikayla has seen both the challenges and the opportunities facing today’s youth. Many wrestle with questions of identity, belonging, and purpose, but she has also witnessed the power of the Gospel to bring healing, hope, and transformation. Her own testimony mirrors that truth—moving from striving to earn God’s approval to living from a place of being fully loved and accepted as His daughter. That personal shift fuels her calling to walk alongside students as they discover the same freedom in Christ.

Her heart is to help students, schools, and churches partner together to create environments where young people can encounter Christ and be equipped to share Him with their peers. For her, this feels like a full-circle assignment—bringing what God has done in her life back to the very communities that shaped her.

Mikayla loves gathering with friends around a bonfire, spending time at the lake, and connecting over coffee, Thai food, or, honestly, any kind of food. She believes ministry happens as much in everyday conversations as it does on big stages. Mikayla is passionate about seeing a generation of students rise up with courage, faith, and love, and she counts it a privilege to be part of what God is doing through Collision in this region and beyond.
