RYAN LUMLEY

Raised in Big Lake, Minnesota, Ryan was an avid high school athlete whose life took a defining turn during his senior year. When he asked his now-wife, Tracy, on their first date, she agreed on one condition: he had to go to church with her. That very day, Ryan gave his life to the Lord—and he has pursued Jesus with his whole heart ever since.

After attending Northwestern College in Iowa for his freshman year, Ryan felt a strong calling from God to transfer to St. Cloud State University. It was there that his passion for evangelism truly ignited. Whether spending quiet moments in prayer, boldly sharing the gospel on campus and in classrooms, or leading Bible studies, Ryan’s college years were defined by a drive to make Jesus known.

Ryan and Tracy married after college and moved to Sioux Falls in 2007. They have been married for 19 years and are blessed with three amazing daughters: Anah, Eden, and Ivy. Ryan’s connection to Collision goes back to 2008, when he first heard founder John Glasser share the vision while serving as a local youth leader. For the past decade, Ryan served as the Next Gen Pastor at Church at the Gate in Sioux Falls, with a heart to raise up young people as wholehearted worshippers and bold proclaimers of the Gospel.

Whether cheering on his daughters at sporting events or sharing the hope of Christ, Ryan’s passion remains unchanged. He is thrilled to step into this new season with Collision, joining forces with the team to build the Kingdom of God across Sioux Falls
