TITUS DEAL
Mission Coordinator- Northeast, SD
Titus grew up in the southern part of South Dakota until age seven, when his family moved to north-central South Dakota, where he currently resides. He is a proud native South Dakotan.
He was raised in a Christian home and knew who Jesus was from an early age. He was actively involved in church through Awana, VBS, Sunday School, and youth group. While he knew about Jesus growing up, he didn’t fully understand the importance of knowing Him personally and truly living for Him. He accepted Christ as his Savior when he was five, but for many years, there wasn’t much visible change in his life.
During his sophomore year of high school, through a meaningful relationship with his Sunday School teacher, he began to understand the seriousness of sin and his need for genuine repentance.
Although he knew he was saved, he felt God calling him to publicly profess his faith through baptism. That summer, he obeyed and was baptized.
Life didn’t suddenly become easier—in fact, it became more challenging. He wrestled with a desire to pursue worldly things while also wanting to follow Christ. His faith grew significantly during his senior year when his youth pastor intentionally discipled him. That’s when he truly began to understand what it means to follow Christ and live for Him.
College was a difficult season, as he was surrounded by worldly influences. He had intended to be bold in his faith, but he realized he was relying on his own strength to appear like a “good person” rather than fully trusting in Christ. This led to pride in his life.
After college, he reconnected with his home church, where the community played a vital role in his spiritual growth and sanctification. He became involved in youth ministry, which he absolutely loves. He continues to seek the Lord daily and invites Him into every aspect of his life.
He has a deep passion for youth ministry and discipleship. His own growth during his teenage years showed him how pivotal that stage of life is. He now serves as a volunteer youth leader, leading small groups and Bible studies. He also enjoys spending quality time with family and friends.
He was introduced to Collision in 2025 when his church partnered with them. He has been amazed to see how their tools and processes equip students to evangelize in their schools. He is excited to be part of what Collision is doing and even more excited to see how God will continue to work in schools across the United States.
